It’s time for elected officials to stand with families. Make a contribution today and let’s pass paid leave.

Paid Leave PAC is building political power and demanding accountability to finally win paid family and medical leave in the United States. Paid Leave PAC will support federal candidates who champion comprehensive paid family and medical leave policy and commit to its passage.

After years of a health, care, and labor force crisis and unprecedented attacks on women's rights, paid leave has never been more important for the health of women, children, and families.

Paid family and medical leave came closer to becoming law in this country than ever in history—in 2020 Congress passed temporary and emergency paid leave in response to COVID-19, and in 2021 paid family and medical leave passed in the United States House of Representatives. But today we still remain one of the only countries in the world that does not guarantee any form of paid leave for its workers. No one should have to choose between their health or their work, their family or their paycheck. We should all be able to hold a loved one's hand through chemo or see our baby's first smile.

Paid leave is a lifeline for working families and small businesses—and a tool for public health and economic growth. Securing gender, racial, and economic justice requires it. The future of work, our jobs, our families, and our lives depend on it.
