Pak's Picks: 2026 Contenders!

There's never been a better chance for progressives to win primaries and general elections than 2026. So now's the time to go whole hog and kick in a few bucks if you've got them!

First, we have to win the Senate. That means we have to hold GA and MI, pick up NC, and then win three out of five out of AK, IA, ME, OH, and TX. We don't know who's running in ME and GA, MI, and NC seem fairly solid...

...so I've added Mary Peltola in AK, Josh Turek in IA, Sherrod Brown in OH, and James Talarico in TX to this donation form, along with a few more candidates I believe in, listed below. If you donate via this form, they'll each get an equal share of whatever you kick in.

(UPDATE: I've learned that Turek has very disappointingly fallen short of defending trans people and immigrants. We may need him in order to take back the Senate, and he'll be better than any Republican, but if you don't want to donate to him, you can click "Customize amounts" to remove him from your donation list.)

Let's do this and win this, friends!

Abdul El-Sayed, US Senate, Michigan.

Abdul El-Sayed is running against Haley Stevens for the Democratic nomination for the US Senate seat in Michigan. Stevens is a centrist supported by AIPAC. She does not support abolishing ICE. El-Sayed takes no money from corporate PACs and wants to abolish ICE. He supports Medicare for All and is endorsed by the UAW and the Working Families Party.

Gina Hinojosa, TX Governor

Gina Hinojosa is running for governor against Greg Abbott, a far right Republican who's wrong on just about everything. Hinojosa's running to his left on everything, including affordability, education, and health care. She has an actual shot and would be a massive upgrade in every conceivable way.

William Lawrence, MI-07

William Lawrence is a climate and housing organizer who's slamming data centers and pushing for affordability. His opponents are crypto supporters. Lawrence is endorsed by the Working Families Party, Sunrise Movement, Indivisible, and a huge number of local officials.

Mai Vang, CA-07

Vang and Doris Matsui, both Democrats, will face off in November for the CA-07 seat in Congress. Matsui, a reliable Democratic vote, has nonetheless taken money from AIPAC, refuses to call for ICE to be abolished, does not support Medicare for All, and is married to a billionaire (ref). Vang calls Israel's actions in Gaza a genocide, calls for ICE to be abolished, supports Medicare for All, and wants to tax billionaires.

Your donation will be split evenly among these candidates. I'll probably add more over time. Excited to keep on winning! Thank you for your support!
