About Chris Rabb
First elected in 2016, Rep. Chris Rabb is a 5-term state representative in the largest full-time state legislature in the U.S. He proudly represents a majority Black, mixed income legislative district of nearly 70,000 people across 4 neighborhoods in northwest Philadelphia. He has spent his career challenging corporate power, advancing social justice, and standing up for communities too often ignored by political insiders. Now, he’s taking that fight to Capitol Hill to join the ranks of other bold progressive public servants, amplify the voices of working families, and defy monied interests and establishment politics. He believes that American leadership for too long has been defined by the violent impact we have on other nations. He believes that we must immediately dismantle the military industrial complex, cease all imperialist foreign policy, and end all U.S. led efforts for regime-change. He is committed to stopping funding violations of human rights. The genocide in Gaza must end. The genocide in the Sudan must end. Every person deserves to be safe, no matter where their home is. Rep. Rabb is running for Congress because it is time to put community over greed, expand democracy, strengthen workers’ rights, guarantee access to healthcare, housing, clean air and water, and confront the danger that concentrated wealth poses to real self-government.
