About Pamela
The daughter of working class immigrants, Pamela was the first in her family to attend college. She wanted to become a pre school teacher but struggled to find a preschool teaching job that paid the bills. Wages were too low, cost of living too high. So Pamela got to work to tackle these challenges. She became a policy professional, community organizer, and an education advocate.
Now she's running for San Jose City Council to build bridges and work hard for our city, whether that’s tackling homelessness, building more housing, improving public safety, or providing universal child care, Pamela is ready to lead.
Running for office is expensive.
Because Pamela doesn't come from money, take corporate PAC donations, or schmooze lobbyists, she depends on people like you donating and appreciates every dollar you give.
