About Pamela
The daughter of working class immigrants, Pamela was the first in her family to earn a Bachelor’s degree. She began her career as a preschool teacher but struggled to find a job that paid the bills; wages for educators are too low and the cost of living is too high. Determined to address these challenges for working families like her own, Pamela rolled up her sleeves and got right to work. She became a policy professional, community organizer, and education advocate supporting families across the country.
Now she's running for San Jose City Council to build bridges and work hard for our city, and whether that’s tackling homelessness, building more housing, improving public safety, or providing universal child care, Pamela is ready to lead. Join us and meet Pamela Campos.
