For over 17 years, Alianza Americas has been working to build transnational coalitions that help address the structural inequities that continue to impact families in the region. As an organization rooted in a transnational vision, we believe the work of Honduras-based organization, Paso a Paso, is essential to empowering the next generation of democracy.

Since 2002, Paso a Paso has provided a comprehensive education to children and adolescents, childcare for working parents, access to nutritious food, and much more. The team serves more than 160 youth a day, many of who visit their community grounds in search for food, clean water, and school supplies.

Through our new collaborative fundraising campaign—Building a Better Life, One Step at a Time—we are aiming to fundraise a total of $50,000 to support transnational collaborations that move us towards a better future.

But we can’t do it without you.

By donating today, you are directly supporting:

  1. The purchase of a vehicle that will be used by Paso a Paso to keep their resource bank stocked with nutritious food and the staff equipped to help transport materials for the life-changing programs of the organization.
  2. Support the operations of Paso a Paso’s work.
  3. Strengthen the work of Alianza Americas as a convener and leader highlighting the role of inequities in the region and proposing community-led solutions to help address the root causes of migration.

Now more than ever your solidarity is needed to continue working towards a more equitable way of life for people in Honduras and throughout Latin America.
