As a child, Paul fled Vietnam alone by boat, survived life in a refugee camp in Indonesia, and entered the foster care system in the United States. He endured hardship without parents by his side, stayed focused, and built a life through education, discipline, and perseverance.
Today, Paul is a Certified Public Accountant, a partner at Chavan & Associates LLP, a small restaurant business owner in San Jose, an ESUHSD parent, and the Chair Of The Citizens Bond Oversight Committee for ESUHSD. He is running for school board because students deserve real opportunity, teachers deserve support, and families deserve accountability from district leadership.
I’m running for ESUHSD Trustee Area 1 because students and teachers should come first.
