Every year, Putnam County Democrats gather for one night to eat together, hear from leaders who have been where we are going, and put real money behind the candidates who will be on our ballots next November.


This year we are doing it with Beau Bayh.

We lowered the price on purpose.

The biggest barrier to this dinner has never been interest. It was the ticket price.

So we cut it. Early bird tickets are $40, and students attend free. No application, no awkward conversation at the door.

We would rather fill the room than pad the receipts.

But here is the honest part: the room does not fund the campaigns. The people in it do. If you are able to give beyond the price of your ticket, that money goes straight to work for local candidates — yard signs, mailers, door knocking, and the unglamorous county-level organizing that decides who represents Putnam County.

Ticket Options

  • Early Bird — $40. Available through September 6. Tickets go to $60 on September 7.
  • General Admission — $60. Beginning September 7.
  • Sponsor a Student — $40. Students attend free, and your $40 covers a seat, a meal, and a night in the room for someone just getting started.
  • Student Ticket — Free. Currently enrolled? You are in. Just register so we can set a place for you.
  • Additional Contribution — any amount. Every dollar above your ticket goes directly to supporting Democratic candidates on the Putnam County ballot in 2026.

Common Questions

Do students really attend free?
Yes. Currently enrolled high school and college students attend at no cost. Please register so we have a seat and a meal ready.

Can I sponsor more than one student?
Please do. Each $40 sponsorship covers one seat.

Are contributions tax-deductible?
No. Political contributions are not tax-deductible.

Do I have to be a Democrat to attend?
If you care about Putnam County, you are welcome at the table.

Reserve your seat before September 7 — after that, tickets are $60.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am at least eighteen years old.
  2. If this contribution is made with a corporate card, I certify that it is within the legal limits for corporate contributions.
  3. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  4. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
