According to The Cook Political Report, California’s June 5 primary is the single highest-stakes primary of the year.

Katie Porter (CA-45) -- the "Elizabeth Warren of California"

Katie has written several books with Senator Warren and was appointed by then-Attorney General Kamala Harris to be California's top consumer watchdog. She has spent 20 years fighting Wall Street and powerful interests. Katie is taking on Mimi Walters, one of the most vulnerable Republicans in Congress.

Mike Levin (CA-49)

Mike is a clean energy entrepreneur and non-profit director. He believes strongly in the power of clean energy to create jobs, and will also fight for Medicare for All, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Mike says he is proud to be part of the Elizabeth Warren wing of American politics.

Ammar Campo-Najjar (CA-50)

Ammar is the son immigrant parents, born and raised in East San Diego county. worked his way up from a church janitor in high school to a position in the Obama White House. He is running for Medicare for All, immigrant rights, and overturning Citizens United. A win here would flip the congressional seat held by the first House member to support Trump, Duncan Hunter.
