NBC reported: "Kara Eastman is the new darling of the left after defeating a virtual-incumbent in a stunning upset in a Democratic congressional primary in Nebraska Tuesday."
CNN reported: "A nonprofit executive who campaigned on offering Medicare for all stunned the Democratic establishment and secured one of the activist left's biggest wins yet...Kara Eastman defeated the better-known former Rep. Brad Ashford, a 'Blue Dog' who argued for compromise."
Pundits and Republicans are attacking Kara Eastman, saying a progressive woman cannot win in Nebraska.
But Kara says: "The PCCC is a strong force in the political universe elevating candidates who are willing to fight for all working families...With their help, I look forward to taking on my Republican incumbent on Nov 6."
