PCCC - Progressive Change Campaign Committee

Donate to Katie Porter and help her flip this red seat BLUE (PCCC).

CA-45, Katie Porter won the Democratic nomination to face Republican Rep. Mimi Walters. Clinton won this Orange County district by 5 points, and this is one of the most flippable districts in America.

Katie is Elizabeth Warren’s protégé. She was Warren’s student, wrote two books with Warren, and was appointed by Kamala Harris when she was Attorney General to be California’s top consumer watchdog. She is running on Medicare For All and other economic populist priorities.

Katie’s opponent consistently voted to water down Wall Street reform and weaken the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (a stark contrast to Katie). Walters also took hundreds of thousands from big corporate interests and then voted in favor of Trump’s corporate tax giveaway. She even voted for provisions that would uniquely punish California state income taxpayers and take away tax benefits for Orange County homeowners hurt by natural disasters.

Katie has been endorsed by the PCCC, Emily’s List, End Citizens United, Moms Demand Action, VoteProChoice, J Street, Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren, and others.
