We're working to influence more Democrats running for president in 2020 to run on big progressive ideas such as Medicare For All, expanding Social Security, a Green New Deal, debt-free college, and a nationwide $15 minimum wage.
In 2016, we showed Democrats how to play offense. We made ideas like expanding Social Security and debt-free college central to the election. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders campaigned on those ideas. So did Senate, House, and state legislative candidates. We laid the long-term groundwork to move the center of gravity in the Democratic Party -- so we are better prepared for future fights.
With an enormous field of presidential candidates, it's more important than ever to amplify the progressive ideas that will defeat Trump in 2020.
