Challengers:
Rev. Dr. Raphael Warnock (GA-Sen) is pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church, the same church where Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. served as pastor. He is leading in polling in this special election to unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler -- the wealthiest Senator in Congress with a net worth of $520 million.
Jaime Harrison (SC-Sen) is in a dead-heat race against Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a top Trump enabler. Jaime overcame poverty and went on to become a teacher after attending Yale and Georgetown Law.
Sara Gideon (ME-Sen) is the Speaker of the House in Maine running to defeat Republican Susan Collins. The Hill reports that Sara leads Collins by 12 points. Sabato's Crystal Ball just upgraded this race to "Lean Dem."
Mark Kelly (AZ-Sen) is running to defeat Republican incumbent Sen. Martha McSally -- and The Hill reports that he’s 10 points ahead. Mark is a retired astronaut and fighting for stricter gun laws alongside his wife, former Rep. and survivor Gabby Giffords.
Theresa Greenfield (IA-Sen) is narrowly ahead of incumbent Republican Sen. Joni Ernst in one of the tightest toss-up races in the country.
Cal Cunningham (NC-Sen) is the vet ahead in polling of Republican Sen. Thom Tillis, one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for re-election in 2020.
Steve Bullock (MT-Sen) is the Dem Governor running to defeat incumbent Republican Sen. Steve Daines in this highly competitive and tight race. A New York Times poll shows Bullock trailing Daines by just 1 point.
Mike Espy (MS-Sen) is running to defeat incumbent Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith. She makes jokes about public hangings. Mike is a trailblazer for representation. This is a razor thin race with Espy only 1 point behind Sen. Hyde-Smith.
MJ Hegar (TX-Sen) is the Purple Heart recipient running to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, where polling shows M.J. within single digits of Cornyn in this toss-up race. M.J. served 3 tours in Afghanistan with the Air Force.
Jon Ossoff (GA-Sen) is in a tight, toss-up race to defeat an early supporter of Trump, incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue. In 2017, Jon came within 3 points of winning GA’s 6th Congressional District seat -- a historically deep red district.
Barbara Bollier (KS-Sen) is a State Senator and doctor running for this open seat against Republican Rep. Roger Marshall, where polling shows Barbara tailing Marshall by just 1 point with a huge cash on hand advantage, outraising Marshall 4:1.
Al Gross (AK-Sen) is the doctor and commercial fisherman running to defeat Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan, where polling shows them tied in a neck and neck race.
Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (NM-Sen) is the highest-ranking Latino in Congress and is outpacing Republican Mark Ronchetti by 9 points to fill this open seat.
Incumbents:
Sen. Doug Jones (AL-Sen) prosecuted the KKK and is in a virtual dead-heat with Republican challenger Tommy Tuberville in this very close race, where Doug is also outraising Tuberville.
Sen. Gary Peters (MI-Sen) is leading Republican challenger John James with a slight edge in polling and fundraising in one of the most crucial states in the 2020 election.
Sen. Tina Smith (MN-Sen) is leading with 7 points ahead of Republican challenger Jason Lewis, a Trump-esque candidate before Trump was even on the political stage.
Longshots -- but good progressives:
Merav Ben-David (WY-Sen) and Marquita Bradshaw (TN-Sen) are longshots, but good progressives. Last cycle, we won in Idaho with the wave election. Wins in these states would expand the map.
