Donna Edwards (MD-04) is a former member of Congress, one of the original progressives who started the modern movement of congressional progressives -- and a big proponent of abortion rights and gun control.
A former public interest lawyer, she led the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and led the bipartisan effort to pass the Violence Against Women Act in 1994.
In Congress, Donna worked to create NASA jobs, increase investment in historically black colleges and universities, and stop cuts to Medicare and Social Security.
She’s also an analyst on MSNBC and a columnist for the Washington Post. She’s running for her old seat -- which is blue and now open again -- against an establishment, corporate-Dem opponent.
Then, donate $3 to Donna's campaign for Congress and our work to elect her and other progressives fighters all around the country who will end the filibuster and pass the Democratic agenda.
