In Congress, Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49) has stood up for the type of bold action we need on climate including putting ending offshore drilling front and center in the Natural Resources Committee.
When we helped Mike flip California’s 49th Congressional District from red to blue in 2018 -- and keep it blue in 2020 -- it sent a strong message that progressives don't need to waver on our values in order to win in swing districts.
Now, with the narrow Democratic advantage in this district has become a virtually dead-heat -- and 3 Republicans are already running against Mike.
If this seat to fall back into Republican hands, Democrats will all but certainly lose our majority in the House -- which will seriously jeopardize our ability to fight climate change, expand healthcare, lower prescription drug prices, and make sure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.
