Eric Hovde, her mega-millionaire Republican opponent, is a Trump-endorsed, right-wing extremist who supports a national abortion ban and thinks people in nursing homes shouldn't be allowed to vote. He supports cutting Social Security and cutting taxes on billionaires.
A series of new polls show Tammy locked in a statistical tie with Hovde in Wisconsin’s Senate race.
He also says he wants to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). There are no parts of the law that he supports, including protections for people with pre-existing conditions and covering young adults.
Hovde and his GOP allies and dark money super PACs have been relentlessly targeting Tammy with misleading attack ads that have eliminated the polling gap in the race — and his internal polling even show him creeping into the lead.
