Donavan McKinney is challenging incumbent Democrat Shri Thanedar. The people of Detroit have long been represented by a Congressman who bought a seat and refuses to wield the power that comes with it. While Thanedar is self-funded and propped up by AIPAC and corporate dollars, McKinney has organized his community to combat issues that Thanedar’s office has largely ignored.
His campaign needs resources now to reach voters, build momentum, and fight back against better-funded establishment forces.
