The Progressive Change Campaign Committee has been working hand-in-hand with candidates all year to make campaign finance reform an issue on the campaign trail.
Candidates did joint press conferences on passing public financing and overturning Citizens United with the PCCC. They've put money in politics messaging on their websites and in campaign literature.
Now, the PCCC is building off its success making 2,000,000 volunteer-driven calls for candidates in 2012 with an ambitious goal of 4,000,000 calls in 2014.
This includes protecting reform champions Carol Shea-Porter (NH-1) and Rick Nolan (MN-8) in the House, and helping reform supporters Bruce Braley (IA), Rick Weiland (SD), Tom Udall (NM), Al Franken (MN), and Jeff Merkley (OR) win important seats in the Senate.
This program merges a paid call center with local and national volunteers and costs $250,000. $50,000 more is needed for the final month. Donate $500 to $5,000 to the PCCC Federal PAC -- or donate more to the PCCC's non-federal PAC. You can also donate by mail here.
