Help me attend the Progressive Change Campaign Committee Conference

Goal thermometer

I'm excited about this opportunity to better learn how to more effectively represent the people of our communities.

We all know the devastating impact that the corporate takeover of our state and nation has had on the vast majority of people, who are seeing reductions in their take-home pay as well as losing quality of life in so many other ways.

I am committed to helping to take our state and country back. But I need help to do it. What I will learn at this 4 day intensive conference will better equip me to fight for the needs of our residents.

Please help me pay for a room and airfare with a contribution of up to $250. Thank you so much!

From the site:

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (BoldProgressives.org) is excited to announce a vital new piece of progressive infrastructure for the coming election cycle. From Thursday, July 30 - Sunday, August 2, over 250 candidates -- local, state, and federal -- will meet in Washington DC for an intensive four-day candidate training.

The training will cover the A to Z's of running for office, including identifying donors, hiring experienced staff, winning local endorsements, earning great press, motivating volunteers, polling, and more. Attendees will also have access to a resource fair where they can have professional head-shots taken, consult with compliance experts, and practice their on-camera speaking skills. It's a valuable opportunity for all candidates, regardless of experience level.

But most importantly, candidates who attend will meet other progressives from all over the country, making useful connections and gaining an understanding of themselves as part of something larger. We're not just training candidates in the nuts and bolts; we're building a movement.
