The Power Coalition for Equity and Justice is a statewide civic engagement table in Louisiana. We are dedicated to giving voice and power to the people of our state by fighting for policies that support Louisiana families, fighting against policies that harm those families, increasing voter participation, and building structures that lift up community organizing and activism.


Louisiana continually ranks at or near the bottom of every quality of life measure, including education, health, and economic opportunity. While these negative outcomes directly or indirectly impact every Louisianan, they are especially harmful for black and brown communities.
