Since the Reagan administration, gay and bisexual men have been barred by the FDA from donating blood. As a result of it, some survivors of the Orlando night club shooting were prohibited from donating blood to their friends who were shot.
We are teaming up with members of Congress, the Equality Federation, the National Gay Blood Drive, and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee to ask the FDA to lift this ban.
Can you chip in $3 toward our organizing to lift the ban on gay and bisexual men donating blood? Donations will help the Equality Foundation, National Gay Blood Drive, and Progressive Change Institute plan a petition delivery event and fight for LGBT rights.
You can donate on this page or by mail here.
