Community organizer and former Policy Director for Bernie Sanders during his presidential run, Analilia Mejia has fought for racial, economic, and immigrant justice, including campaigns for workers’ rights, affordable housing, criminal justice reform, voting access, and public services. She supports conditioning US military aid to Israel in order to end the Gaza genocide. After the US military strikes on Venezuela, she called it “an illegal act of war,” saying that “bombing another country and seizing its president is reckless, dangerous, and risks dragging us into another endless conflict.”
