New Hampshire State Representative Paige Beauchemin is a working nurse and mother of three who believes her lived experience can separate her from career politicians. She was the leading sponsor of a NH bill “recognizing the United Nations universal declaration of human rights and urging the responsible and moral oversight of and accountability for military equipment used by international allies especially in Gaza.” And she wants to see a new kind of US foreign policy: "I am committed to upholding peace and dignity for all people. This informs my international policy as grounded in aid provision, peace promotion and diplomacy. I strive for the United States to cease its initiation of unnecessary wars and end its global colonization. I push for the United States to take accountability for its historical legacy of destabilizing nations. As such, we need to provide more aid and restrict our distribution of weapons and military action."
