Peace Action is thrilled to endorse Rep. Ruben Gallego for the Senate race in Arizona.

During his time in the House, Rep. Gallego was a reliable vote on our Yemen campaign, including in opposing arms sales to Saudi Arabia. He’s been a good vote for diplomacy with Iran: from voting for the initial JCPOA, to opposing the Trump withdrawal, to supporting a return to the deal. He’s voted with us on a number of amendments on nuclear weapons issues including extending NEW START, cutting funding for low yield nukes, and cutting funding for mid-range nuclear missiles. He’s also occasionally led on progressive foreign policy issues including, as an Iraq war veteran, an effort to stop the escalation of U.S. military presence in Iraq under the Obama administration.

Supporting candidates like Rep. Gallego through Peace Action lets them know that diplomacy and peace issues are a priority that you want to see them take leadership on. Please support Ruben Gallego today!
