Donate to Pennsylvania Stands Up

A silver lining of the 2016 election is that it galvanized a new generation of grassroots leaders all across Pennsylvania—and not only in the Democratic strongholds of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. These emerging leaders have organized hundreds of rallies, run for office, and knocked hundreds of thousands of doors, changing what's possible in our state.

Pennsylvania Stands Up was born following the 2018 midterms when PA Together, Lancaster Stands Up, Beyond the Choir, and the leadership of the Jess King for Congress Campaign joined forces to form a new statewide organization. We see immense opportunity in the massive unorganized base in small cities, towns, and rural areas. Over the past two years it has become evident to us that this base can be organized, if we do the work.

Our plan is to build on our initial successes from the 2018 cycle; to both deepen and scale our work. Your contribution will help us to hire staff organizers in priority areas of the state for the 2020 cycle.
