Travis will bring a student's voice to the County Board and will work hard to improve the lives of the county's many residents. He recognizes that addressing issues such as housing affordability, healthcare access, climate action, and criminal justice reform is essential to improving the lives of Dane County residents. He understands the issues and has plans to address them. Travis previously served as a town board member in his hometown, giving him experience in local government that has prepared him to serve you on day one. His experience of having lived both in urban and rural Dane County has given him a broad perspective on the needs of the county.

Travis has the courage and conviction to stand up for what is right. During his time as a town board member in the Town of Berry, he stood firm in his advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. Even when met with fierce resistance from Berry’s town chairman (who went as far as calling the police on a pride event he organized), Travis did not waiver. He will bring the same spirit to the Dane County Board of Supervisors and continue to stand up for what is right!
