About the candidates
Eon Tyrell Huntley is running in Assembly District 56in Bed-Stuy and northern Crown Heights. He is a lifelong Brooklynite, father, renter, retail worker, parent advocate and democratic socialist who has always stood up for his community.
Claire Valdez is running in Assembly District 37 in southern Queens. She democratic socialist, an artist, and a union organizer who is ready to fight for working-class New Yorkers.
Jonathan Soto is running in Assembly District 82 in the Bronx. He is a Puerto Rican interfaith leader, movement organizer, and public school parent running to bring the Bronx what they so richly deserve.
