Provincetown Film Society 20 for 20
In Celebration of the formation of the Provincetown Film Society, which began as the Provincetown Film Festival 20 years ago.
The magic of creating a moving picture requires 24 still frames that together make one second of film - moments in time that connect to tell a story. In 2018 Provincetown International Film Festival will celebrate 20 Years of telling stories and touching hearts by showcasing the best in American and international cinema.
During those 20 years, the Provincetown Film Society and PIFF have contributed to the legacy of Provincetown as an art colony, a global destination and a shining example of diversity and inclusion through boundless, authentic creative exploration in film.
Like the frames of film making a moment, each of us connects to the essence of Provincetown, whether we call Provincetown our physical home or home in our hearts. Together we will celebrate 20 years of bringing the world to Provincetown and Provincetown to the world as we launch another 20 years of making film history at 24 frames per second
