Patty Garcia grew up in Little Village and Cicero, the daughter of Mexican immigrants who worked hard, played by the rules, and still had to rely on Head Start, Medicaid, and food stamps to get by. She knows what working families are up against because she lived it.
Patty has spent her career helping our communities get a real voice — registering voters, fighting for people shut out of the system, and making government work for families who’ve been ignored while the well-connected get everything.
She’s running for Congress because opportunity shouldn’t depend on your ZIP code — and because working people deserve someone who will fight as hard as they do.
