Patty García is the daughter of Mexican immigrants, born and raised on Chicago’s Southwest Side and now living in Cicero. Her parents worked hard to give their daughters a better life. Her father spent nearly 30 years working on an assembly line — until his company moved his job somewhere cheaper.
Patty knows what happens when working families do everything right and still get squeezed by a system that puts corporations and the wealthy first.
She’s spent her career fighting for the communities that raised her — helping people navigate government, standing with workers, and making sure families too often ignored by Washington have someone in their corner.
Now she’s running for Congress to lower costs, protect healthcare and Social Security, and make sure working people finally get a fair shot.
