I was raised in Indiana, and I was taught Hoosier values by my parents and grandparents, family, community, hospitality, and the value of hard work. After college I took those values out into the world, offering service to my community.
Our district deserves a representative that believes in our district. You deserve someone that listens to you, understands your issues, and does not view your needs as just another statistic. Hoosiers in this district have real kitchen table issues, not the things being talked about by millionaires on cable news, but real problems with real solutions. I look forward to listening to you, and hearing from you exactly what the most important problems are here at home, and how I can tackle those for you in Washington.
Blind patriotism fueled by hate speech is not the Hoosier values I, or any of us were raised on. Hoosier values are believing in the American dreams of all Americans. The American dream is not defined by one political party, but by the spirit inside each of us. We need members of Congress who believe in the freedom of every American to choose the American dream that fits their desires. Together, we will reclaim our American dream.
