The mission of the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund is to end cash bail and pretrial detention in Philadelphia. Until that day comes, we post bail for as many of our neighbors as we can.
Between May 13, 2017 and January 10, 2025 we freed 1101 of our neighbors and posted $9,166,575 in ransom.
In addition to providing bail for our neighbors, we also provide mutual aid and support after release to help them return to court and begin to rebuild their lives.
