United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades (SWFL Hurricane Relief Fund) - has partnered with the Collaboratory to create a disaster relief fund in the aftermath of those affected by Hurricane Ian. 100% of the SWFL Hurricane Relief Fund supports local nonprofits and areas experiencing the most immediate needs.
Volunteer Florida/Florida Disaster Fund - assists Florida’s communities as they respond to and recover during times of emergency or disaster. Funds are distributed to service organizations that will serve within their communities with disaster response and recovery.
Organize Action - Hurricane Relief - is addressing urgent response needs of impacted communities, ensuring equitable state and federal responses, and providing emergency aid throughout the state via a network of grassroots organizations.
RNRN Disaster Relief- The Registered Nurse Response Network is standing by to assist with potential deployment needs in the wake of Hurricane Ian in Florida. We are preparing to deploy a nurse strike team, a medical task force team with clinical teams, and a medical field unit.
Project Hope - Project HOPE is focused on ensuring that the most vulnerable and marginalized populations—the elderly, people with disabilities and pre-existing conditions, those living in poverty, and people who are undocumented—can access the help and care they need.
No Kid Hungry - is working with partners on the ground in Florida and across the country to get food to kids and the families who need it most.
Save the Children - is working to meet the most urgent needs of children and families living in the areas hardest hit by powerful Hurricane Ian. In addition to providing critical supplies to children and families, we're also working with evacuation shelters to protect children’s safety and mental well-being.
