Patriotic Millionaires Champion: Bob Brooks (PA-07)

Bob Brooks is running in the Democratic primary for Pennsylvania's 7th district, which is represented by freshman Republican Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, who flipped this seat in 2024 with just 50.5% of the vote. This is an R+1 seat and a "Toss Up" race for 2026 that could end up deciding control of the House.

Bob is a first time candidate who is a longtime firefighter and union leader. He blends a working class background with strong support for populist economic policies. Bob has raised an impressive $600,000 so far, and though there hasn't been any recent polls of the primary, the two that have come out have shown Bob in a close second.

He's also built an impressive coalition of endorsements, including Gov. John Shapiro, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Rep. Chris Deluzio, Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Ruben Gallego, and many labor unions.

Bob is being narrowly outraised by another candidate in the primary, but we're confident that with a little support, Bob can win. Since he's running in both a competitive primary and potentially a competitive general election too, Bob needs all the help he can get to pull this off. The primary is coming up soon on May 19th.
