Patriotic Millionaires Champion: Christian Menefee (TX-18)
Christian Menefee is running in the Democratic primary to represent Texas's 18th district, vacated by deceased Rep. Sylvester Turner, who had only recently been elected to fill the vacancy left by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee. He already won the special election to fill the seat, and has to immediately defend the seat for reelection next November.
Due to statewide redistricting, Christian is currently running against Rep. Al Green in the primary for this seat, which will take place on March 3rd.
Christian has served as the County Attorney for Harris County, Texas since 2020, and he's running on a platform that is highly aligned with our priorities, along with an impressive list of endorsements.
A recent poll showed Christian up more than 20 points over Rep. Green, and if he can advance through the primary, he will almost certainly be reelected in this safe D+21 seat. Christian is an extremely talented and intelligent communicator, and Patriotic Millionaires is proud to support his campaign. He's facing four elections in one year, and Christian will need all the help he can get if we want to keep a strong champion in this seat.
