Patriotic Millionaires Champion: Donavan McKinney (MI-13)

Donavan is running in the primary to challenge incumbent Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar in Michigan's 13th district. Rep. Thanedar is not known for being a champion for our issues, has a reputation for poor constituent services and a weak connection to the district, and is heavily funded by corporate PAC money after previously rejecting it when he first ran for the seat. Donavan, on the other hand, comes from a working-class background and represents the poorest district in the Michigan state senate, so he understands what his constituents need.


Beyond that, Donavan is stronger on our specific issues than the incumbent. Donavan has demonstrated his commitment to taxing the rich, raising wages, and protecting democracy, and Patriotic Millionaires is proud to support his campaign.
