Patriotic Millionaires Champion: Jordan Wood (ME-02)

Jordan Wood is running in the Democratic primary for Maine's open 2nd congressional district, vacated by Rep. Jared Golden's decision to retire.


This is an R+4 seat that is rated as Likely Republican now that the incumbent isn't running, and Democrats will have to fight hard to hold onto this seat in a district that voted for Trump by 10 points in 2024. The right candidate with a strong populist platform can keep it competitive, and Jordan has a profile that should appeal to voters throughout the district.


As the former Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Katie Porter and VP of End Citizens United, Jordan has a ton of experience fighting for economic justice. His race will certainly be one of the most competitive House races in 2026, and Patriotic Millionaires is proud to support Jordan's campaign.
