Patriotic Millionaires Champion: Richard Ojeda (NC-09)

Richard Ojeda is running in North Carolina's 9th district to unseat Republican Rep. Richard Hudson, who's been in office since 2013 and chairs the National Republican Congressional Committee.


This is an R+8 district, but it definitely could be competitive in a blue midterm year, and Richard has built a ton of momentum early, raising an impressive $1.6 million so far. Richard is a retired US Army major who served in the West Virginia Senate before running for US Congress in 2018, and he's running on a platform that is centered around affordability, which is definitely aligned with the Patriotic Millionaires agenda.


Richard officially won the Democratic primary on March 3rd and will advance to the general election, and he's going to need all the help he can get to flip this seat in November. Patriotic Millionaires is proud to support his campaign.
