Join your Polk County Democrats for the 2023 Women's Event!
We'll be joined by a history-making panel of Des Moines School Board President Teree Caldwell-Johnson, Polk County Supervisor Angela Connolly, House Democratic Leader Jennifer Konfrst, and Senator Janet Petersen. The discussion will be moderated by Broadlawns Board of Trustees Vice Chair Emily Webb. They'll discuss running for office, serving the public, and lessons on leadership from their remarkable careers.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. The event begins at 7:00 PM. Space is limited, so buy your tickets today!

Sponsorships at $100 and above will include a "Iowa Democratic Women" lapel pin mailed to you (Friend, Supporter, Sponsor, Host and Defender tickets). The 2023 pin (below right) was inspired by a vintage lapel pin found at a local antique store (below left). Only 100 pins were printed, so get them while you can!
