The night before we get down to party business, let’s get back to our roots.
Join Democrats from across Oklahoma and our brothers and sisters in labor for a family reunion-style cookout—because before the speeches and resolutions, we build power around the table, on the grill, and in community.
This isn’t just a pre-convention party. It’s a chance to reconnect with why we do this work in the first place. To break bread with folks who believe in dignity, democracy, and a better Oklahoma for all of us. And to celebrate the historic ties between labor and the Democratic Party—two movements that built power together before and are ready to do it again.

What’s happening – We’re smoking ribs & bologna, baked beans, smoked mac & cheese and homemade desserts!
Indoor seating for dinner - Hang around after sunset! We’ll move outside to the barn for music, community, and post-dinner vibes. Bring a lawn chair and stay awhile.
No long speeches, no program. Just good friends, good food, and getting excited for the 2025 Oklahoma Democratic Party Convention - we hope to see you there!
