Prison Book Program relies on the financial support of generous donors like you. Your gifts allow us to send packages of free, hand-selected books to tens of thousands of people in prison every year! Your donation has big impact:
- $6.18 is the average cost of mailing three pounds of thoughtfully selected books from our library of donated books
- $4.50 buys a college level dictionary – requested by about 1/3 of the people who write to us
- $12.50 buys the only GED study guide that does not require a website
- $300 prints 500 copies of our National Prisoner Resource List.
