Progressivism made real headway in Aurora over the last four years. Keeping or extending that growth isn’t guaranteed, though. It could become stalled. It could even be lost. That’s why it’s important for progressives here to support their candidates.
The campaign finance reforms passed last November eliminated contributions to candidates by business entities and imposed contribution limits on individuals. Still, the more affluent will find it easier to make contributions up to those limits. Pooling many smaller contributions into a small donor committee will shine a brighter light on progressives’ agenda and be more effectual.
So, please give what you can—but only to the legal limit of $50.00 in aggregate per calendar year. Any citizen of the United States can contribute, regardless of where they live.
