Project 2026: Texas Democracy Is on the Line

Let’s be clear: we are dangerously close to losing the very foundation of our democracy — not just nationally, but right here in Texas.

Extremists have taken hold of the Texas GOP, passing laws that criminalize abortion healthcare, target immigrants and families, suppress the vote, and strip away local control from communities like ours.

They’ve made it clear: they’re not going to stop. And if we don’t rise to meet this moment, they’ll take even more.

That’s why we launched Project 2026.

It’s not just a campaign — it’s our last stand.

Project 2026 is a bold, long-term organizing strategy in Denton County — one of Texas’ fastest-growing and most flippable areas. We’re recruiting and training local candidates, building a year-round voter engagement operation, and creating the infrastructure needed to fight back against authoritarian power grabs.

We either invest in the fight now — or we accept a future where elections are rigged, voices are silenced, and freedom is only for the few.

This isn’t hyperbole. It’s already happening.

If we win here, we show Texas — and the nation — that our democracy is worth defending. If we don’t? The consequences will ripple far beyond Denton.

Pitch in today — $10, $25, whatever you can — to help us build the firewall for democracy in Texas.
