Promote the Vote leads the efforts to preserve and protect voting rights in Michigan. From passing pro-voter ballot initiatives, to overseeing a pro-voter reform of Michigan's election code, to leading the state's nonpartisan Election Protection Program, PTV works day in and day out to ensure that Michigan has a voting system that works for all. Our 2024 work will focus primarily on voter education, election official engagement, and combating both voter suppression and election subversion. We plan to reach at least 2 million voters–specifically voters that are often ignored by other campaigns and programs–with the goal of ensuring that these voters know how to, and are able to, exercise their new voting rights, such as early voting and the ability to receive a ballot by mail before each election, and to make their voices heard.
