Priority: Protect 4 Vulnerable Democrats in the Florida House

What's at Stake?

Breaking the Republican supermajority in the Florida House begins by defending Democrats in these battleground districts. These state representatives all have a perfect record of support for the LGBTQ community. Each of them is facing an opponent that is heavily funded by the Florida GOP. They have stood with us against Governor DeSantis' "Slate of Hate" -- now we need to stand with them.

Representative Allison Tant

Florida House of Representatives District 9 (Leon County)

Representative Allison Tant, representing Tallahassee, is an experienced lawmaker with a strong and long record as a champion LGBTQ rights. Her conservative Republican opponent has resorted to ugly, anti-LGBTQ attack ads, making our support all the more vital.

Representative Tom Keen

Florida House District 35 (Orange County)

In 2023, Representative Tom Keen flipped this seat from red to blue in a special election that was one of the most exciting and important Democratic wins this year. In 2024, he's being challenged by the same Republican he beat in 2023 in a huge rematch for a seat that is an essential hold for Democrats.

Representative Lindsay Cross

Florida House District 60 (Pinellas County)

Representative Lindsay Cross is an environmental scientist who has represented HD 60, the district that includes downtown St. Pete, for 4 years. She has a perfect record of support for the LGBTQ community and has been an outspoken champion. President Biden won this district with 55% of the vote in 2020, but Lindsay is facing a well-funded challenge from a former member of the St. Pete City Commission, and the race is very tight.

Representative Katherine Waldron

Florida House District 93 (Palm Beach)

First elected in 2022, Representative Katherine Waldron won her seat by 50.6%, just 864 votes. Now she's seeking reelection as she faces an aggressive challenger. This is a must-protect seat in Palm Beach County.
