Contribute Now to Help Protect Voting Rights in Maine
Although Maine voters have had the right to register and vote on Election Day for almost 40 years, the new Republican majority in the State Legislature decided it was time to take away that right and make it more difficult for citizens to participate in elections beginning in the Fall, 2011.
But thousands of Maine voters objected and a People's Veto is now underway to overturn that legislative decision in Maine and we need your help.
