There’s a humanitarian crisis at the border.
Families are seeking refuge.
Children are fleeing violence.
This administration responds with cruel policies that separate families & cages children.
CARECEN is responding by partnering with St. Johns, The Children’s Partnership, and the UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Initiative to launch Proyecto Dignidad.
Proyecto Dignidad provides medical care, legal services and humanitarian aid to migrant families at the border who have fled their homes and traveled thousands of miles to seek refuge.
They deserve dignified care and services.
Proyecto Dignidad delivers services at shelters like Templo Embajadores de Jesus. Templo Embajadores de Jesus is one of the biggest family shelters in Tijuana, they are a critical support for asylum seekers coming from all over the world. Conditions in the shelter, however, are precarious. We have seen leaking roofs, on-going health problems and no resources for the over 50 children that are living there.
They are not forgotten and they are not alone.
But, they need your help.
Donate now to help us continue supporting Templo Embajadores de Jesus and reach our goal of $25,000.
**100% of donations will go to building a medical clinic, nursery and classrooms at the shelter Templo Embajadores de Jesus so migrant families can receive dignified medical care and children can receive classes. In addition, money will be used to repair the leaking roof of the shelter and buy critical supplies including medication, food, hygienic products and school supplies for the children.
