PCCC - Progressive Change Campaign Committee

Fund PROGRESSIVE lobbying in 2023!

P Street -- the progressive alternative to K Street -- is our lobbying arm in the halls of power. This year, P Street fought hard for:

  • Student debt cancellation by convening the White House and top student debt advocates to strongly encourage President Biden to go bold on student debt cancellation -- which he did!
  • Climate legislation: For two years, we lobbied Congress and the White House to help keep the president’s economic and climate agenda on track -- beating back corporate Democrats who tried to sabotage the biggest climate bill in history! It passed!
  • Renewing the Child Tax Credit by keep the Child Tax Credit a top legislative priority -- and ensuring that Democrats did not give away corporate tax breaks while families were left behind. This remains central to our work in 2023!
  • Banning insider trading in Congress by leading the coalition that brought many diverse members of Congress together (from Katie Porter to Abigail Spanberger) on this issue. We got very close, and will come back for more next year.
  • Taking on Big Tech monopolies by pushing for key legislation to stop Amazon and Google from using monopoly power to favor their own products in the marketplace. We got a small down payment, and will come back for more next year!

Corporate lobbyists are working against you every day. Donate here to help expand our effective progressive lobbying team.
