Support Penn State Forward

So many of us believe in a better Penn State.

With your support, we have a chance to build it!

Our team supports young, forward-thinking candidates for Penn State's Board of Trustees with a vision we believe a majority of alumni share: a safe, inclusive, just, and sustainable Penn State. We need your help.

We made history in 2022 as the first student-run campaign to place a candidate on Penn State's Board of Trustees. In 2023, we won again, electing another candidate.

Our campaigns have been successful on two fronts:

First, they put pressure on the Board to take action on issues that alumni care about. As an example, after our 2022 campaign, the Board announced it was pursuing plans we proposed in our platform, like making the alumni trustee elections more democratic.

Second, once elected, Penn State candidates generate new policy. For instance, other Trustees have given Penn State Forward candidates credit for integrating sustainability considerations in investments and major capital projects.

We plan to support candidates in 2025 let's grow our small but mighty coalition on the Board! Campaigns become expensive quickly. We're a small group of students and young alumni. These donations enable us to cover the costs of a campaign, like our digital outreach and website server.

Thank you!

If you'd prefer to donate via check, please send us an email at team@psuforward.org.

FYI: The Boarding School (TBS), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, has agreed to serve as a home for our fundraising efforts. All donations submitted through this page are earmarked for Penn State Forward's efforts; TBS holds these funds until we're ready to use them! More information about our TBS partnership is available on our website.
