Who We Are
PWN-USA is a national membership and advocacy organization for women and gender-diverse people living with HIV. We organize across five pillars — Reproductive Justice, Decriminalization, Civic Power, Gender Justice, and Health Equity — grounded in Racial Justice and led, always, by people living with HIV themselves.
We don't just serve our community. We're led by it. Every policy fight we take on, every leader we train, every space we hold — it starts with the people most affected by HIV, making the decisions that shape their own lives.
That model only works because of donors like you.
Why Your Gift Matters
HIV criminalization laws are still on the books in over 30 states. Reproductive rights are under sustained attack. The people at the center of both fights are too often left out of the rooms where decisions get made.
PWN exists to change that — and donor support is what makes it possible:
- It funds leadership, not just programs. Every dollar helps train and support women and gender-diverse people living with HIV to lead advocacy campaigns, testify before legislatures, and shape policy in their own name.
- It funds decriminalization work in the states where outdated HIV laws still treat a diagnosis as a crime.
- It funds the infrastructure — staff, training, mobilization — that lets PWN respond fast when rights are on the line.

Join the Guardian Circle
The Guardian Circle is PWN's community of monthly, recurring donors — the people whose support doesn't wait for a campaign or a crisis. It's there every month, which means we can count on it every month.
That reliability changes what PWN can do. It means we can commit to a legislative fight that takes two years, not two weeks. It means when something urgent happens — a bill drops, a court rules, a community needs a fast response — we don't have to fundraise first. We can move.
Guardian Circle members give at any amount, monthly. There's no minimum. Many Guardians start around $25/month — but a $10/month gift and a $95/month gift both make you a Guardian just the same. What matters is the commitment, not the size of it.
As a Guardian, you'll get:
- First word on PWN's advocacy wins and what your support made possible
- An inside view of the work between campaigns — the part most donors never see
- Recognition as part of PWN's most sustained circle of support (as much or as little as you want)
